About Lexi

Lexi and VinceAlexis (Lexi) Lind, started riding when she was 8 years old in San Diego, California. She first started out English and Western, then moved to Whidbey Island where she joined Pony Club. This is where it all began. Her Pony Club Instructor, Linda Chatfield, showed Lexi the joy of Eventing and she has never looked back. Lexi went on to obtain her "Arating at the age of 17, one of the youngest in the Northwest Region of Pony Club. Lexi has been eventing for more than 20 years and has been professionally teaching and training for the last 13 years. 

Lexi is a 1997 graduate of the University of Washington and continued to ride and train while in school. Lexi is passionate about teaching and training all levels of riders and horses. Several of Lexi's students have been training with her for from their teen years through their college years and beyond.

Lexi has ridden with a number of world-class equestrians including Amy Tryon, the late Dietrich Von Hopffgarten, Kim Von Hopffgarten, Jeremy Steinberg, Derek Di Grazia, Bea Di Grazia and more.

Lexi's competitive accomplishments include:

  • 2008 USEA Area VII, Rider of the Year
  • 2008 Twin Rivers (CA) CIC*, 2nd place
  • 2007 Rebecca Farm (MT) CIC*, 2nd place
  • 2006 USEA Area VII Intermediate level, Reserve Champion
  • 2006 Rebecca Farm (MT) CIC**, 2nd place
  • 2005 Twin Rivers (CA) CIC**, 5th place
  • 2005 Colorado Horse Park (CO) CIC*, 1st place
  • 2005 USEA Area VII, Reserve Rider of the Year
  • 2004 USEA Area VII, Rider of the Year
